Hand crafted in Nepal using time honoured techniques. Traditionally enjoyed in Himalayan temples and quiet devotional spaces, this traditional rope incense is made by artisans who twist natural botanicals into soft lokta paper before weaving each strand entirely by hand. Ethically produced, it supports community craftsmanship and keeps a cherished cultural practice alive.
The aroma is gentle and grounding with an earthy calm that settles softly into your space. Perfect for slow rituals, meditation, quiet moments, or inviting a sense of harmony into your home.
There are no synthetic fragrances or fillers, just pure botanicals woven into lokta paper and twisted into their distinctive rope form. The burn is clean and slow, releasing a gentle, earthy aroma that supports stillness, ritual, and a sense of peaceful focus.
Each set contains 28 ropes, inside an handmade paper lokta box that includes a list of the natural ingredients used.
Each set also includes a little ceramic incense holder.
Ritual
Place the incense into its holder and set it on a stable, heat-safe surface. Light the tip and allow the flame to catch, then gently blow it out so it smoulders.
As the smoke begins to rise, take a moment to slow your breath and set an intention. Let the aroma fill the space, grounding the senses and creating a calm, ritual atmosphere. Allow the incense to burn fully, returning to stillness as the fragrance softly lingers.
